DESCRIPTION:Why this Race \n\n\n\nThis was the only race I was signed up for before the pandemic in 2020\, and it was canceled. I originally signed because I wanted to go back to Walt Disney World for the 50th anniversary. That is happening this year. DESCRIPTION:Why this Race \nIf you know me you know that I am a sucker for all things Disney. This is the first in person RunDisney event since the start of the pandemic. So I couldn’t help myself\, plus it gave me a reason to go to Walt Disney World since its been about 10 years since I have visited.  Also as the Wine and Dine race\, it takes place during that event at Epcot. Soo lots of food to try! SUMMARY:2021 San Diego Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Why this Race \nThis is my first Marathon since 2013. I wanted to pick a race that I have done before\, and in a city that I knew. Since I lived in San Diego for a number of years\, and I can visit my sister and her family I picked San Diego. The course is not the easiest since the race starts at Balboa Park\, runs throughout the city and finishes downtown. If you haven’t run San Diego or been there before you might not know it is a very very very hilly place.  But the weather and views are always amazing! SUMMARY:City of Champions Half Marathon - GADSDEN\, AL
DESCRIPTION:The week before Thanksgiving I am visiting my parents and thought to myself why not run a half-marathon.   This is the first City of Champions Half Marathon in Gadsden Alabama.   Gadsden has some hills so the website describes this half-marathon as moderately challenging. The awesome thing about this half-marathon is that it starts and finishes at Back Forty Brewing Company.  I have loved every time I have visited Back Forty when I visited my family. Looking forward to my first half-marathon in the state of Alabama. \n  \nI am running this race 6 days after the Las Vegas Half-Marathon.
