Consistency

I have a problem. I have a big problem. Consistency! From following through on plans for my business to sticking with a running program or diet, I am never consistent. I can generally stay with something for about 3 weeks. Then I stop what I was working on it. Sometimes this is because of burn out (usually that is where I drop the ball with my work marketing), get sick, or just drinking a little too much the night before a long run. 

Back at it. 

So I am re-starting my weekly training logs/vlogs. I have found the energy to do this in my career but also for this more personal journey blog. At the time of writing this blog, It is 4/3/2020, and we are in week 3 of stay at home order for COVID-19. I want to focus my energy on something positive, and the one thing that has made me smile every day when I drive home from work. (I work in health care so still working) is seeing so many people out for a run. So I want to be one of them! I have been more consistent in working out this year and eating healthy. I lost about 10 lbs at Orange Theory Fitness challenge earlier this year and want to keep that momentum going.  

Consistency With What?

I have decided to start my weekly blog/vlog again and be consistent with it. This is what to expect from here on out. =

  • Weekly training post/ vlog 
    • Each post will follow how well I follow my training 
    • Each post will follow my diet and calorie goals to make sure I am eating correctly. 
    • Each post will follow my ups and downs.

I will still be posting even if I don’t run or workout for the week to keep myself constance at this.
