Straighten Training 

It was a push day, focusing all on the upper body since so much of my strength is already in my legs. 

Workout Review 

Overall, my arms and chest were a little sore right after the workout, but nothing lasted into the day. I felt super tired and was lucky enough that I had a free morning to get some sleep, so I took a long nap before heading to work.  

Food Log  

I always find it hard to eat while I am working. I have the time to take a break, but I always tend to not pack my lunch. Also, a significant headache is my apartment has no water, so it’s hard to cook when you don’t have any water at all. I was able to eat some of the food I already had prepared, but also, Uber Eat had some healthier options.

How’s my journey to fitness going? 

Overall, yesterday felt great from the run to the workout. The challenge that I am facing is how the other life stress tends to get in the way. I had a flat tire and had to replace my tires. My hot water heater was leaking, which gave me no water in my apartment; on top of that, my fair alarm went terrible, so it was beeping nonstop all evening. Impacting my sleep. I am trying my best to focus on what I can control and know that life is not fair, and sometimes, things like this happen. I need to focus on what I can manage and keep taking care of myself in the right way.
