Why this Race
This is my first Marathon since 2013. I wanted to pick a race that I have done before, and in a city that I knew. Since I lived in San Diego for a number of years, and I can visit my sister and her family I picked San Diego. The course is not the easiest since the race starts at Balboa Park, runs throughout the city and finishes downtown. If you haven’t run San Diego or been there before you might not know it is a very very very hilly place. But the weather and views are always amazing! This will also be the first race my nieces, father and grandmother all will be there in support!
